Languages in 2017 

Year 7 students who are studying Indonesian in Year 8 are reminded to RETAIN their Saya Bisa 1 textbook and workbook for 2017.

If a student has lost their books, they are required to replace them with new books. Lilydale Books will have copies of both books.

Year 7 students studying French in Year 8 will have a new textbook and workbook – Quoi de Neuf 2.

Volunteer Host Families needed

Student Exchange Australia New Zealand is looking for a volunteer host family for a 16 year old French boy named Antoine and a 17 year old Italian boy named Jacopo, who arrived in Australia in July 2016.

Antoine is a sociable, open-minded, sincere, cheerful and hard working boy who enjoys spending time with family and friends and hopes to share his French culture with his host family whilst gaining a greater understanding of the Australian culture. Whilst in Australia he is hoping to discover the Australian wildlife, surf, scuba dive and visit museums. We are looking for a family able to host Antoine before 26th December.

Jacopo is looking forward to living in Australia so he can see the world from a different perspective, test himself in new situations, make new friends and have a second family. Whilst here, he would like to continue to do athletics, play the piano and the guitar and get to know new places. As a junior athlete, Jacopo specialises in throwing the javelin. He enjoys meeting up with friends and travelling.
