Grade 6

Orientation Day

On Tuesday 6 December, the Grade 6’s came in for their Orientation Day for 2017. They participated in a variety of activities from several different subject areas.

One exciting activity from the Maths department was the '12 Days of Christmas' activity. This activity required the students to investigate triangular numbers using paper plates, polyplugs and other Mathematical strategies.

'We used 82 plugs to test if we could make a complete triangle with them.'
