2016 Valedictory Dinner & Grade 6 Orientation Day
Tuesday December 6, was a very busy day having welcomed our new students and families to the school and farewelling our Year 12 students at our annual Valedictory dinner.
The 2017 Year 7 students had a great morning participating in classes, meeting teachers and making new friends. We look forward to them beginning their secondary school years at the end of January.
The evening saw our current Year 12 students being presented with certificates and awards whilst enjoying dinner with family and friends. The student presenters were excellent and those who performed did a splendid job. Congratulations to our award winners and well done to every graduating student for a great 6 years.
Interviews 'S' & 'N'
Interviews are currently being held for those students who were not successful in achieving a ‘satisfactory’ in all subjects. The interviews centre around why this occurred and where to from here.
Thank you to all of the parents who have supported us in ensuring that their child can take a more active role in their education in future.
Awards Assemblies
We have had a number of awards assemblies to acknowledge the achievements of our students and celebrate the academic year.
Congratulations to everyone who received an award and thanks to all of our parents, grandparents and friends who attended the events. It’s always wonderful to see you assisting us in celebrating the achievements of the students.
World Challenge
I have had a number of updates from our World Challenge teams in Borneo. All is going well and both students and teachers are having some challenging times, but lots of fun too.
They are due back on Tuesday 13 December. We look forward to hearing all about their adventures in the first newsletter for 2017.
