Parents can now view their Financial Records

online through the St Bede's College Web Page/Parent Portal/Emaze, using the Family Code and Password, the same as for Accessing School Report. Details can also be obtained by contacting the school office.

Thanks to the families who have paid or are paying off the school fees according to their Payment Plan. As Term 3 commences, at least half of the fees should now be paid. Families who do not have a payment plan, as on the Payment of Fees form or through discussion with the school, and who have not paid at least half of the year’s fees, will be contacted before the end of July.

Parents are reminded that the College records must reflect the accurate details of your home address, private phone numbers, email address, workplace and work phone numbers. These details are crucial, particularly if urgent contact must be made with parents. If you have changed your details or wish to check the accuracy of the College records in this regard, please phone, email, or call in to reception at the College

Education MaintenanceAllowance 2014-Instalment 2

The EMA provides financial assistance to families on a low income to help with the costs associated with the education of their children (up to the age of 16), such as school fees, textbooks, stationery and uniforms.

EMA is a means-tested payment - parents must hold a Centrelink/Veterans Affairs concession card to be eligible.

The EMA is paid in two instalments annually (70% in March and 30% in August).

An important reminder for parents wishing to claim the Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA) that the closing date for Semester 2 is 14 July 2014.

If you had a successful claim in Semester One, there is no need to reapply.

Application Forms are available from the school office and must be accompanied by a copy of the relevant concession card. Applications for the 2
