Paul Dillon

St Bede’s College was fortunate to again engage the services of Paul Dillon from DARTA (Drug and Alcohol Research Training Australia). Paul travels across Australia speaking to a wide audience including Senior Secondary School students and various organisations on a range of topics including media representation of drug issues, ecstasy and related drugs, safer partying, drugs and mental health and current drug trends. To the St Bede’s community Paul gave various and specific presentations to our Year 10, 11 and 12 students and Staff during the day. At the Parent evening we welcomed many St Bede’s and Kilbreda parents whose daughters and their peers met with Paul the following day.

Feedback from all groups was positive and many students made contact with Paul on Instagram where he maintains current information and tips for keeping safe around drugs and alcohol. Paul will return in 2019 to continue his work with our senior students.
