From the Principal

Welcome to 2020

I hope everyone has settled back into the routine of school, particularly our Kindergarten students and their families.  Creating a safe and secure environment is a major focus for us here at Moama Anglican Grammar.  This safe and secure environment is not only about our physical environment but social and emotional safety.  We want our students and staff to enjoy being at school and to feel comfortable to learn and be the very best person they can.

A part of creating a warm and inviting place for our families is the work of our Parents and Friends group.  The focus of our P&F is to support the development of relationships between families at the school.  The team of parents work throughout the year to organise a number of social occasions where parents can meet each other.

In the Primary school there are class representatives who work with each class group to help new families settle in and enjoy some social time together with their children.  In the Secondary school, the focus is a little different.

The P&F help the school through volunteer work for some of our major occasions such as ANZAC Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Grandparent’s Day and Remembrance Day.  The work they do helps the staff and students by contributing to the development of our supportive environment.

We are very grateful for the work of these parents and I understand that not all parents can be involved in these activities but any who can are very welcome.
