UNIFORM TRANSITION (SUMMER TO WINTER)
As we move into Autumn, we have a transition period between our Summer and Winter uniforms.
From the beginning of Week 1 of Term 2 (16 April) through until the end of Week 2 of Term 2 (27 April), we will be in the transition period for the wearing of uniform. In this period, students may choose to wear either their full Summer uniform or their full Winter uniform, depending upon weather conditions (please do not wear a combination).
From the beginning of Week 3, Term 2 (30 April) students will be required to wear their full Winter uniform.
Please note: Full formal Winter Uniform is required for Foundation Day (Friday 4 May) and for School Photographs (24-25 May) . Normal requirements for Sports uniform continue throughout the entire year.
The way in which the School uniform is worn has a strong influence on how we feel about ourselves and the ways in which we are viewed by others. Every student’s standard of dress and grooming is expected to reflect well on both the individual and the School as a whole. Please familiarise yourself with these expectations which are outlined in the student handbook on the website.
Ready, set, read! The Premier's Reading Challenge 2018 is back for another amazing year of reading!
The Challenge aims to encourage a love of reading for leisure and pleasure in students, and to enable them to experience quality literature. It is not a competition but a challenge to each student to read, to read more and to read more widely.
Students from Kindergarten to Year 9 can participate. To enrol visit the Resource Centre and create your online reading record. Library staff will be available to help guide students to choose listed books.
More information is available on the PRC website.
