SENIOR SCHOOL NEWS

Sarah Bridges

Senior Sub-School Manager

In this final term of 2019, we as a Senior Sub School Team, have been impressed by the mature attitude displayed by our Year 12 students in their approach to their studies. VCAL students are participating in interviews focussed on the skills acquired during the previous two years and how these are relevant to future pathways. All students have answered the questions with confidence and clarity, whilst looking impressive in their interview attire. VCE students are studying hard and seeking feedback as they progress towards their final exams. Some students have already commenced apprenticeships and work. We are looking forward to the Graduation to celebrate with families and the school community the achievements of the students.

Year 12

Final Day 22 October

Details are on Compass and Google Classroom. Students are welcome from 10:00 am - 11.30 am, during which time we will hold a staff student morning tea and the final assembly. Students are reminded of the expected behaviours that respect our school. Security staff will be on site and any disrespectful behaviour may result in not attending graduation or exams at school.

Parents and students are reminded to check and change their details with Centrelink ( if needed) to ensure continued support whilst waiting for courses in 2020.

VCE students are encouraged to be at school, studying and accessing staff, after classes have officially finished to ensure they are preparing for exams.

Chemistry Excursion

A recent excursion to the Otways to investigate water quality and sampling procedures was enjoyed by all. Feedback from the local shop owners was pleasing and they commented that our students were wonderfully behaved and well mannered. Well done to all.
