PFA Report

Term 2 Events

WOW!!!

What a great start to the term we are having. The children have been dancing and shopping to their heart's content.

Also, don’t forget one of the favourites of the year… the loose change fundraiser.  This has commenced this week and is off to a flying start already.

Mother’s Day Stall

As always, one of the most exciting events that the entire school loves is the Mother's Day Stall. The children love coming and choosing their special gifts for their mum or Grandparent.

A very big thank you to the parents who volunteered their time to assist with the running of the stall. It is appreciated.

We hope that all Mums had a fabulous day last Sunday and were spoilt with lots of beautiful gifts from their children.

Loose Change Fundraiser

Every year that we run this fundraiser, we get a huge response from our families at the school.

The ”gloves are pulled on, and the challenge begins” metaphorically speaking.  The children all love it and, get right behind it in the competition to see who will win the class party.

Please remember that this is only AUSTRALIAN COINS that can be counted.  Foreign coins will not count towards the class totals.

So if you have any spare silver or gold coins floating around your car or the bottom of your purse, keep them aside and see if your child’s class can win the class party at the end of the month of collecting.

The winning class will be receiving a Pizza and Ice Cream Party.

Woolworths Earn and Learn

Woolworths are running the Earn and Learn initiative again this year.

Every $10 that you spend in store on the weekly groceries will give you 1 sticker.  Keep a track of all your stickers on the Earn and Learn Sticker Sheets.  If you don’t have one of these to keep your stickers safe, there are some on the front counter of the office.  Once you have filled up your page, simply drop it in the Earn and Learn box that is right at the office door (near the notices table in the foyer).

If you don’t get a chance to bring them into school, there are Lyndhurst Primary School Boxes in our local Marriott Waters Woolworths and also at Thompson’s Parkway Woolworths.  Remember, the more stickers that we accumulate, the more educational supplies we will be able to select.

Stickers are available for collection up until the close of business on the 25th June 2019 – unless sold out prior.

Special Lunch Orders

On Tuesday 18th of June there will be a special lunch order day at Lyndhurst PS. From each $6 canteen order, $1 will be donated to Lyndhurst Primary School.

If parents wish to order the special lunch order, they need to print out the attached order form and fill out one form per child. Parents then need to attach the order to a brown paper bag with the exact amount of $6 enclosed as there will be no change given.

Payment for this excursion is CASH ONLY, and must be handed in to the Office. Orders cannot be placed through Qkr!

Orders MUST be returned to the Office by 4pm Thursday 30th May. Late orders will not be accepted.

The canteen will not have any other lunch menu items available on Tuesday 18th June.

Second Hand Uniform Stall

The Second Hand Uniform Stall will be running regularly, on the 1st Tuesday of every month. The next stall will be held on Tuesday 4th June from 8.30-9.00am and in the afternoon from 3.00-3.45 in the school gym

If anyone has any uniforms they would like to donate to the school, please hand them to the office. All clothes must be clean, without holes and able to be worn.
