The UCAT ANZ was established to help universities achieve greater fairness in selection. Around 14,000 candidates sit the test each year as part of their application to courses in medicine, dentistry and clinical sciences.
The University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT) is a computer-based admissions test, used by the UCAT ANZ Consortium of universities in Australia and New Zealand to help select applicants for their medical, dental and clinical science degree programmes.
The UCAT ANZ replaced the UMAT (Undergraduate Medicine and Health Sciences Admission Test) in 2019.

UCAT registrations - Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences
Do you have students interested in studying medicine in 2023? Registrations for the UCAT are now open. The UCAT is one of the entry requirements for admission into direct entry medicine at Monash. Registrations close on 17 May.
MYSci - Science
MYSci is a hands-on, three-day science program specifically designed for students in Year 11 and 12 in 2022. The event is now on 28 to 30 June at Clayton campus, and the cost is $110 per student.
Major name change - Science
The climate and atmospheric science major (formerly atmospheric science) has two streams - weather and climate, and climate change science, which address the structure and evolution of the physical climate, as well as forecasting weather.
Free workshops and events - Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences
We’re re-launching our free school workshop and student events program. Science teachers can book their school for a workshop, and senior students can attend upcoming curriculum-aligned events.
