Who's Who in the Primary?

Throughout the year the College community will get to know a little bit about the staff who work in the Primary School and we thought there is no better place to start than with our new teachers/teacher assistants.

This fortnight we would like you to welcome Mary Anne Molnar.

I am a mum of two beautiful girls, Sarah and Holly, both Mount Carmel College Alumni. I am the youngest of seven siblings, have eleven nieces and nephews and twelve great nieces and nephews. After having my own children, I was inspired to pursue working with children, for me, it was a natural progression, 22 years ago. I love the honesty, passion and potential that each child can explore and develop when supported and nurtured within a school environment. Being a Teacher Assistant is a fantastic opportunity to support our amazing teachers and students to create the best opportunities to succeed.

What is your favourite colour?

Rainbow....with a strong hint of Red.

What is your favourite movie/song/book?

My favourite movies are Harry Potter, Tangled and The Note Book.

What is your favourite song?

Anything by Ed Sheeran or Adele.

Are you a sweet tooth or a savoury person?

Hard to choose.....I do love both.

How do you relax and unwind?

I relax and unwind in the garden in my veggie patch and walking with my girls.

When was the last time you smiled or had a big belly laugh?

I smile every day, especially when at school. My last big belly laugh was flying off the back of a treadmill at the gym...no injuries thank goodness.
