District Swim Team
On Thursday 3rd of March the Dromana College swim team travelled to the Pines Forest Aquatic Centre in Frankston to compete for the School District Swimming Championships.
Dromana had a fantastic team of 60 kids representing the school. Throughout the day there was so many hotly contested events and solid performances from all our students. By the end of the individual events Dromana was tied for first place. It was incredible to see the team rally together and perform so strongly in the relay events, ultimately leading to Dromana College winning the championship for the second year running… it was an amazing day!
The students should be very proud of their efforts not only for the successful outcome but how they represented Dromana College.
CONGRATULATIONS SWIM TEAM!

Mountain Bike Championships
In late February, Dromana College had 10 students compete at the National Championships for mountain biking in Maydena Tasmania. Tassie turned on just about all weather conditions over the event period and the students competed well and achieved some excellent results with Harry Doye becoming the 2022 Australian Mountain Bike Champion finishing 1st in the U17 XCC – short and long course cross country bike events.
