Help Needed

Hello School Community,

As you are probably aware the Cavendish Primary School and Kindergarten have been asked to run the Family & Friends Café & help with Kids Activities at the upcoming Cavendish Red Gum Festival. The aim of the Café is to provide a Family Friendly and affordable option for lunch, snacks and treats throughout the day. 

We are expecting a big turnout to the event and it should be a great way to raise some much needed funds for the school as well as support a community initiative that will hopefully be an ongoing support for our town. 

If you can volunteer an hour or two on Saturday 23rd April between 10 and 4 it would be fantastic - so we can share the work around and everyone can enjoy the festival. There will also be sandwich making and set up from 9-10 if you prefer. 

We know some of you will have other commitments on the day and many are already involved with the Netball & Football Club, however your help would be very greatly appreciated.

There is a roster with time slots on the WhatsApp messenger group as well as some tasks that can be completed ahead of time such as making biscuits for the kids packs or a cake to sell in the café.

All profits raised from this festival will go directly to community projects.

The School and Kinder will also receive profits from sales of kids activity wristbands and the RGF Committee have worked hard to get sponsorship and donations to cover the costs of all materials, performers and supplies for this.
