Principal's Notes
18th March 2022
Dear Parents and Families,
Parent Teacher Interviews
Next Wednesday after school we will be holding our parent teacher interviews. A note will be going home today with times of the appointments. If there are any problems with the times allocated, please contact the school to arrange a new time or a different day. The interviews will be in each of the teachers classrooms. Please remember that masks must be worn by adults in the school buildings at all times. There are masks at all entrance points of the building available as well. Each interview time is allocated 10 minutes. If you require a longer interview, please make an alternative time. There will be no supervision of students outside during this time as all teachers will be in interviews. The Year 4-6 students are welcome to attend their interview time with their families.

We have an engagement!
Congratulations to Miss Thompson and her boyfriend (now fiancé) Adrian who got engaged last Saturday. Then she celebrated her birthday on Sunday. What a wonderful weekend Miss Thompson had! We wish her and Adrian a long and happy life together.
New Student
We have a new student this week in the school and his name is Gavin the Goat! Holly has brought in her pet goat to help clean up the weeds in the chicken run. The students are really enjoying the opportunity to pat Gavin and we appreciate his efforts in eating the weeds in the garden.
Easter Raffle
Thank you to the families who have sold raffle tickets for the 2022 Easter Raffle. We are incredibly grateful as the Bridge Cafe are kindly donating the first prize for our raffle allowing us to now have even more prizes. If you need more raffle books please write a note in your child's diary or see Mrs Brabham.
National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence
Leading Constable Paul McLean from the Cavendish Police Station visited our school today to talk to all students. He discussed what the police do and what their job is. Also, he wanted to raise awareness of how we can all prevent and respond to bullying and to help create a community of inclusiveness. Thank you Paul for visiting and sharing some very important messages and we are looking forward to future visits.
Have a lovely weekend,
Lisa Ferrier
