Lower Kalgan Community Association

Dear Lower Kalgan residents

COVID-19 ready brochures have been delivered to your home by local volunteer Covid Carers, and initiative of the Lower Kalgan Community Association.

With COVID-19 now in the Great Southern region, you are encouraged to read this information and prepare for the possibility of local spread. In the situation that you become a Close Contact or contract COVID-19 yourself, and are required to isolate at home, then we can offer our help.

  • We have fully vaccinated volunteers, following Covid-safe practices, available to:
  • Pick up/deliver goods, parcels, shopping and perishables
  • Help with your pets – regular walks, vet/clipping appointments
  • Run errands
  • Help with minor exterior handyman tasks and gardening
  • Offer a friendly local ear for a chat over the fence or a phone call
  • Point you in the direction of other assistance available

Please call or email any of us should you need help – even the occasional ‘good coffee’ or newspaper deliveries can be arranged!

Kind Regards,

Jane Mouritz

Spencer Park Dental Therapy Centre News

Spencer Park Dental Therapy Centre provides free dental examinations, oral care advice, preventative, restorative and emergency treatment for children from Pre-Primary to Year Eleven.

Enrolment forms have been issued to your child if he/she has recently changed schools or enrolled in Pre-Primary, please make sure these forms are returned before Friday 25 March if you wish to use our service.

Parents of enrolled students are reminded to contact the centre to update your details if you have moved in the last few years. All appointments are posted home and many of these are returned to us due to incorrect addresses, this means that your child misses out on their dental visit. If you no longer intend to use our service please let us know as soon as possible as your valuable appointment could be taken up by someone else. You can call us on 9841 3967 or send us an email to spencerparkdtc@health.wa.gov.au.
