MTC Ambassador
I’d like to formally congratulate VCE Drama student, Emma Lam, for her successful application as Melbourne Theatre Company Ambassador and representing the Academy in a professional role.
Each year, a group of Year 11 theatre-lovers across Victoria are selected by MTC to be Ambassadors, embarking on a year-long extension program that offers insight into the world of professional theatre. Each month, the Ambassadors meet with MTC staff and artists, and share their experiences of theatre with like-minded peers.
In 2022, MTC Ambassadors will attend 8 MTC productions at Southbank Theatre and Arts Centre Melbourne, and meet a range of MTC staff and artists for exclusive Q&A opportunities. Ambassadors also take a leadership role which has two functions; to act as youth representatives within the Company, and to act as advocates for MTC within their school and social communities.
Once again, congratulations to Emma becoming a 2022 MTC Ambassador.
