Wagga Wagga Diocesan Australian Football Trials

Last week, 11 Kildare students attended the Wagga Wagga Diocesan Under 15 Australian Football trials at Maher Oval. There were also students from Griffith, Albury, Leeton & Temora.

The Wagga Diocesan team is a pathway for junior footballers to progress through to the NSW All Schools Team.

All players played in two competitive games,  with the aim to select a team of 22 to represent the Wagga Wagga Diocese at the NSWCCC Championships.

Congratulations to Hunter Higgins, Josh Allen, Riley Bradshaw, Ben Quilter and Oscar Perrot who gained selection through their performances on the day. These boys will now compete in a two-day carnival on the 2/3rd of May vs teams from Sydney, South Coast, North NSW and Canberra/Goulburn to try to gain selection into the NSW Combined Catholic Colleges team (NSWCCC).
