Youth Forum Series

Youth Development Officer, Alexandra Osgood invited the College to participate in a youth forum to hear student perspectives on how to improve opportunities for young people in Wagga.

Students from years 9, 10 and 11 were invited to join the forum on Wednesday May 18.  Our forum included guest speaker Councillor Dan Hayes, and generated in depth conversations about what is needed and why, and looked at gender differences in what is already available.  There was a common thought that information about what the Council is offering is not reaching young people and so students are encouraged to follow Wagga City Council on Instagram.

We look forward to continuing the conversation with Alex, Sarah Lehman and Dan Hayes in the future.
