Team 1: Ava, Liam and Hayley

On Thursday the 10th of March, there was a school barbeque. The food we had was sausages, chicken steaks, bread, and sauce. The drinks you could have were water and cordial.  Later, activities were run by house captains, school captains, and some junior school councillors. We interviewed some people about their experiences of the barbecue. We also interviewed the people that ran the activities.

First, we will start with "Red Light, and Green Light" with Liam, and Will who ran this game. Will was the doll that said "Red Light and Green Light." When he called "Green Light," all the kids ran, but when Will said "Red Light," everyone stopped. Early in the game a few people got out and had to restart. The game went well overall.

The game "Scarecrow Tiggy" was organised by  Max and Billy. They had three taggers: Jacob W, Jake, and Annie. Many children played the game, and almost all of them enjoyed it.

We interviewed Dylan B, Lenny, and Matilda to see what they enjoyed doing at the barbeque. Matildas and Lenny’s favourite game was the dancing game, but Dylan really did not have a favourite.  All three enjoyed eating and drinking particularly the sausages and drinks.

Next, we interviewed Brody M and Aubree.  Brodys and Aubree's favourite game was "Red Light Green Light" because it was more of a grown-up game.  Brody enjoyed the sausages and cordial, and Aubree the chicken and cordial.

Lastly, we interviewed Peyton and Scarlett. When asked what their favourite game was they both shouted, “DEFINITELY RED LIGHT GREEN LIGHT!!!”

The whole BBQ went well, and everyone had fun. It was great to be able to have our families together at the school like the good old days.
