DITTO'S KEEP SAFE ADVENTURE

PERSONAL SAFETY EDUCATION FOR EARLY LEARNING TO YEAR 3

Children can begin learning valuable personal safety education lessons from 2-3 years old. Providing age-appropriate information around body ownership and the right to be safe from an early age allows for these messages to become part of the child's everyday language and helps build self-esteem and resilience in children.

Children who learn 'Ditto's 3 Rules' are:

We all have the right to feel safe with people.

It's ok to say NO if you feel unsafe or unsure.

Nothing is so yucky that you can't tell someone about it.

Healthy Lunches

Healthy lunchboxes are essential for providing students with the necessary fuel for their brains to store new information throughout the day. It also allows students to keep their mood balanced, as it helps maintain a more stable blood sugar level. High or low blood sugar levels are closely linked to dramatic changes in mood and concentration. In kids, this leads to anger frustration. Developing healthier eating habits provides students with the necessary and consistent supply of nutrients to allow students to remain focused and happy throughout the day.
