ONE DAY VOLLEYBALL SCHOOLS CUP

On Wednesday 11 May - Friday 13 May our volleyball representative teams participated in the One Day Schools Cup at State Volleyball Centre in Dandenong.

 

We are pleased to announce that McKinnon Secondary College finished 2nd overall with a total of 56 points. This was just 6 points shy of the winning school and the best McKinnon has performed in the history of this event. This is an outstanding achievement for the program, and we applaud all the athletes, teachers and families involved for making this event so successful.

 

Congratulations to the following teams who won medals over the three days:

 

Year 7 Boys Division 1 - Gold

Year 9 Girls Division 1 - Gold

Year 10 Girls Division 1 - Gold

Year 12 Boys Division 2 - Gold

Year 12 Girls Division 1 - Silver

KINGSTON CROSS COUNTRY

On Wednesday 25 May, ninety McKinnon students represented the school at Karkarook Park as part of the Kingston Cross Country event. McKinnon once again had a successful day winning both individual and team events, with many podium finishes.

Forty-two students have qualified for the Southern Metro Region Cross Country to be held on Thursday 23 June at Cruden Farm.

SENIOR ROUND ROBIN

On Thursday 19 May the Winter Senior Round Robin took place at a variety of venues across Melbourne. 

 

Congratulations to the Boys Football, Boys Soccer and Girls Hockey Teams who have all won through to the Southern Metro Finals next term.
