Kingswood High Sports Report

2022 is off to a fantastic start, with some greatly anticipated sporting opportunities for students to represent Kingswood High School in competitive team sports.

 

In week 2, our Kingswood High School boys and girls open teams attended the Werrington Zone Volleyball gala day. Both teams did a tremendous job and came away with a few wins. 

 

In week 3, our boys and girls' basketball teams competed at the Werrington Zone gala day. Both teams did an amazing job, and 3 talented students were selected as representatives for the Werrington Zone teams. Congratulations, Michael A, Kelly F and Kadeeja L on this achievement. 

 

In week 4, both our boys and girls open knockout soccer teams competed against Jamison High School. Both teams put in an outstanding effort, playing through the heat. The boys team came away with the win, beating Jamison 11-1. Well done boys, we wish you the best for round two.

KHS Cross Country Carnival

KHS Cross Country carnival was a success with excellent participation across all year groups. Well done to all students who won their races and good luck to those progressing to the Werrington Zone Carnival. 

Knockout Team Success

Well done to our boys basketball team, they won a few games but were unfortunately knocked out by Jamison. Well done to our open girls volleyball who were unfortunately knocked out by Erskine Park. It was a great effort by all teams.

 Good luck to our open girls netball, open girls touch football, open boys touch football and boys volleyball team in their future games. 

Sydney West Swimming Carnival 

On March 18, eight Kingswood High School students represented Werrington Zone at the Sydney West Swimming Carnival.  To qualify for Sydney West, students had to place in the top 2 at the Werrington Zone Carnival. It is an impressive achievement for these students to compete at this level. 

Congratulations to the 16 girls relay team for winning at the Sydney West Carnival and moving on to the CHS carnival.
