Term 4 Week 2 Report

The first two weeks of school have been very busy, there are so many wonderful and exciting events happening this term.  Congratulations to all the students who have began the term with a Growth Mindset and are challenging themselves each and every day.

Our current blitz is ‘Speaking respectfully’

Last week we saw many ways that you can show respect when you are speaking to people.  Looking at the person that you are talking to, listening to them and not butting in, accepting that other people have opinions that are different to our own are just some of the ways that we can show respect.

Keep up the great work.

See below for the tally for our PBIS ticket competition.  The prize for this term is a Movie afternoon with popcorn!!!

Term 4 Week 3 Report

It has been wonderful to see lots of students around the school ‘Speaking respectfully’ Nothing brightens up a persons day more than people speaking to each other with respect.  Well done to all those students who show respect each and every day.

Our new blitz for the next two weeks is…... ‘Being Sunsmart’

There are many ways that we can be sunsmart, especially at school

  • Wearing your school hat at recess and lunchtimes.
  • Putting on sunscreen before you come to school and ‘top up’ throughout the day.
  • At recess and lunch, if it is a very hot day, you could find an indoor club or go into the library to cool down.
  • You could also sit in the shade and drink lots of water.  It is very important that you bring a drink bottle to school and fill it up throughout the day.

We will be presenting a clip at assembly next week about being sunsmart.

Term 4 Week 3 - PBIS Student of the Week

Our PBIS Student of the fortnight is from the 1/2 Area.

Miss Wong was very excited when telling us about this student.  She said you are a student who always thinks before you act.  This student makes the correct choices because she thinks about what the consequences will be.  She always listen in class and that leads to success in her work because she has listened to the steps involved to complete her work.

Well done Rylee Mateussen, you are our PBIS student of the week!
