PBIS Awards

PBIS Award - Term 4 Week 4

Our current blitz is being ‘Being organised for class’.

We hope that students are coming to school and organising themselves for the day.  If you have a special job in your classroom, it would be great if you could remember to do that job before the teacher reminds you.

When packing your bag at the end of the day, be sure to take your drink bottle and your jumper.

Keep up the great work everyone!!!!

PBIS AWARD Term 4 Week 5

Congratulations to all students who did a wonderful job on being organised.  Being organised helps you to remember what is happening throughout your day and to be a focused learner.

Our new blitz for Week 6 & 7 is about “Communicating Respectfully”.

Remember communicating Respectfully includes using manners and saying please and thank you. It means using a respectful tone of voice and not arguing, especially with adults. It means taking responsibility for our actions. Arguing with an adult and blaming other students is NOT being respectful. Communicating respectfully also includes our body language. Rolling our eyes, not looking at a teacher and walking away are all signs of disrespect.

So let’s continue to make St Mary’s a safe and respectful place to be.
