NEW - St Marys Sports Teams

Thanks to Mr Preston for organising teams being entered into the T20 Blast competition, Basketball and Softball.

Softball

Our softballers who recently played in division games were successful in making it straight through to the State level.  Congratulations to all the players on your efforts and for representing St Marys. Good Luck with the next stage.

Basketball

Our Basketball teams were all very competitive and represented St Marys with great sportsmanship.  Although they havent advanced to the next level, the students had fun and played with great spirit.

Cricket

The Gr 5/6 Girls team will play in the regional event next Friday.  This will be held at the Mooroopna recreation Reserve. We wish our girls team good luck in their efforts to advance to the state level, an opportunity to play on the hollow turf of the MCG.

Swimming

On the weekend Kade James, Joshua Dunning, Flynn Church, Caitlin Doherty, Casey Woolley, Stella Freeman & Matilda Chadwick all travelled to Melbourne to swim with the GV district team at the Optus Junior Dolphins 8-12yrs swim meet which was held at the Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre.

It was a very long and exhausting day with all the children being competitive, showing great spirit, and some coming away with personal bests and great results.  Well done everyone.
