Daffodil Day Merchandise Sale

Daffodil Day is the Cancer Council’s annual campaign that raises life-saving funds for world-class cancer research. It’s a time of hope; where many people come together to show our support for the 145,000 Australians diagnosed with cancer each year.

Research is vital to saving lives and finding less harsh cancer treatments. Money raised this Daffodil Day Appeal will help fund some of the brightest researchers in the country who are dedicated to discovering the next cancer breakthroughs.

Recess and Lunchtime Sports Equipment - Look out for our new system!

Next week, JSC reps and Mr Batt will be coordinating a reorganisation of the sports equipment available for recess and lunch playtimes.

A new system is being set up where central stations of sports equipment will be at the places in the playground where they are used. For example, on the Basketball and Netball Courts, there will be tubs of basketballs, netballs, four-square balls and skipping ropes. On the Bottom Oval there will be tubs of AFL footballs, soccer balls and cricket bats, balls and stumps.

JSC Reps will be collecting all sports equipment from each classroom and helping Mr Batt to coordinate the redistribution. The aim is to get it out as quickly as possible so that students can use it.

Look out for our new system!

Keep those sand toys coming!

And maybe add some pre-loved but now not needed Tupperware or other plastic items.

JSC are still collecting pre-loved sand toys to replenish the depleted collections in the F-2, 3/6 and 5/6 sandpits. We're also adding to this, a call for no longer needed Tupperware/Decor or other  plastic containers and utensils that could be used as sand toys.

Items in good condition, can be sent to Mrs Owens and Mrs Tainsh’s rooms – 20 & 21, either directly or via the classrooms.

Thank you in advance for your help… and a special thanks to those families who have donated already. Our students are very appreciative!
