K/1 Red

Wow… K/1 Red has been having so much fun that this term has just flown by!

Term 3 has seen K/1 Red become scientists and we have learnt about living things. We have enjoyed investigating our natural environment closely by looking at animal species, habitats and life cycles.  During Term 3, we also embraced our inner musicians and performed songs by singing and using percussion instruments. This week in Mathematics, we have learnt about Multiplication and Division and had a great time modelling and describing equal rows and groups. In Literacy, the book we have been reading titled, ‘Fox’ by Margaret Wild, involved K/1 Red using their imagination to write a new ending to the book. They also had to include similes in their writing!
