Principal's Update

Term 4
Welcome back to school, after what I hope was an enjoyable and relaxing school holiday break. It was lovely to see lots of smiling faces on Monday despite the wet weather! A special welcome back to Miss Edwards and Miss Munday as they return from Maternity Leave.
Term 4 is always a busy time with many special events. Be sure to check the 'Dates to Remember' section of this newsletter or the calendar in our Dundas Public School Skoolbag App for further information.
Variety Night
WOW! What a spectacular evening!
Our students did a fantastic job with their performances and were the stars of the show. Thank you to our parents, extended families, friends and community members who came along to support the event. It was wonderful to have our whole school community together in celebration of our students' interests and talents. Thank you, also, to our P&C for organising food and drinks and for selling the programs.
Evenings such as these are only made possible with the commitment and dedication of such amazing staff. I am very proud of our teachers, especially those who were brave enough to perform 'Footloose' on the night! The success of the evening was a result of planning and preparation. Special thanks to the committee of teachers, including Mrs Percincula, Mrs Zalaf, Mrs Neasmith, Mr Dean, Mr McSeveny, Miss Howard and Mrs Dinsdale, who did much of the 'behind-the-scenes' work in the lead up to Variety Night.
Kindergarten 2019
Our Ready Set Kindy program is due to commence on Tuesday 30th October 2018. If you have a child starting Kindergarten in 2019, or you know a friend in our school catchment area who has a child starting with us next year, please ensure the necessary enrolment forms are completed as soon as possible. Please see Mrs Dinsdale, School Administration Manager, if you have any questions or would like further information about our Kindergarten Orientation program.
