Foundation Transition Day

On Friday October 25, a group of eager and excited new students appeared down in the green room! Armed with Teddy Bears and looking very grown up in blue, instead of the red Kinder shirts, the Foundations of 2020 had their first Transition session. Ms Thornton welcomed the group, with a few more to join them next time!

I grew up in Warrnambool Victoria with my Mum, Dad, older sister and younger brother. I participated in many community based activities like playing netball and performing in musicals. I attended both Catholic primary and high schools, before undertaking a traineeship within a primary school as part of my gap year before moving to Ballarat to begin studying.

I’ve just completed a Bachelor of Education and am looking forward to starting my teaching journey within Edenhope College. I love music and am keen to bring it into my classroom to assist creating a positive and welcoming learning environment. I love creating hands-on learning experiences that challenge and engage all students.

In my spare time I love to cook, catch up with my friends and family and play music.

I’m really looking forward to getting to know everyone in the community. Therefore, I am incredibly excited to meet my students, their families and the wider community.
