Class of 2019

Class of 2019
Last day of School
What a week we had last week with the Year 12s finishing up their schooling with us at Edenhope College!
The staff all made a delicious lunch for the Year 12s on Thursday so that we could all come together and celebrate as a group, with all of the students’ favourite foods on offer. The students were thrilled to share this with their teachers and support staff and it was a nice end to their formal classes.
Lunch was followed by an assembly for all secondary students in the Barn. Luckily for all, the weather was quite warm, so no one really minded the water bombs and fun activities that many were able to get involved in.
Year 12 End of School Excursion
On Friday, Mrs Heffernan and I took the Year 12s out for a day of fun and frivolity away from the school. We drove to Ballarat (via stops at the Big Koala and Stawell McDonalds) to have an awesome time at Xtreme Bounce. It was a lot of fun and we all enjoyed bouncing around on the trampolines and showing off some impressive skills.
We had a scrumptious lunch at Schnitz, as Mrs Heffernan had made so many comments about it during Business Management classes. It was a great place with fabulous food – it is highly recommended!
On our way home, we stopped off for a round of mini-golf in Halls Gap, which was very hotly contested, with some people taking their golfing very seriously! Everyone had fun, on a beautiful course and we all had a laugh in between putts and losing golf balls.
We arrived back at school tired, but happy, after a fabulous day celebrating together.
We wish all of our Year 12s the best for their exams, which started on Wednesday. We know they will do a great job and show what they can do
