The Importance of Play

This article comes from the OT conference and their work on “play”.  We are teaching our students to sit, read, and write, and they do not know how to “play”  Play is not only very important developmentally but also has a major impact on academics.  Developmental preschools are proving to have a better impact on academics than a more academic preschool approach.
