Positive Behaviour for Learning

During Week 7 students will continue to be learning what respect, responsibility and honesty looks like in the classroom, concentrating on following teacher instructions.

Teachers will be acknowledging students in the classroom with green value cards who display the following;

RESPECT

Follow teacher instructions

HONESTY

Be truthful (Can I do/Do I understand what the teacher has asked?)

RESPONSIBILITY

Seek help/support appropriately (If the above answer is no)

HONESTY 

Honest reflection on your effort and learning (How did I do?)

 

In the playground, white values cards will be given to students who display the following behaviours.

RESPECT

Respect property (own/others/school)

RESPONSIBILITY

Be responsible for own actions

Wear own hat

Walk scooter/bike in school grounds

Do your business and leave (in the toilets)

Year Five students are also reminding students at our daily assemblies about the school's expectations when on excursions due to many students leaving the school to attend swim school in the coming weeks ahead.

Follow instructions from officials

Leave facilities clean and tidy

RESPONSIBILITY

Wear appropriate clothing

Stay in designated areas

Be a positive representative of BWPS

HONESTY

Play according to the rules as enforced by officials or teachers
