Using your mathematical superpowers

Family Maths Activity

It's not too late to join in the fun!

As a family or with a group of friends look at the image above and answer the following questions:

1) What do you notice?

2) What do you wonder?

3) What did you discover?

Take your time to answer these questions, once you get on a roll you can notice, wonder and discover many different things. Please jot these things down on a sticky note or piece of paper, take a photo and bring them into the office to be displayed on the notice board. 

As you talked about this image and noticed, wondered and discovered you used a range of mathematical superpowers! Perhaps you even had a sweaty brain - mathematicians have these when they are working hard, sharing ideas, providing their reasoning!
