STUDENTS OF THE TERM: Yrs 11 & 12

Zara Collins –11 Purple

Zara is a hard working student and also an active member of the co-curricular life at the Academy. She regularly contributes in class and helps other students. Zara brings fun to the classroom and the year level. She demonstrates strong leadership qualities and positivity at all times. Her participation in the Academy Choir and College Production are perfect examples of her talents in Music and the Arts and her willingness to get involved.  

Ruby Lomas-Mee  12 Green

Ruby has received extremely high praise from not only her teachers but also her peers. She has worked incredibly hard this semester in all aspects of College life. She was an integral member in the cast of the College Production, Fame. In addition to a superb performance, she was also commended for the way she involved many of the younger students in the cast. Ruby has a real talent and passion for acting. She was able to combine the demands of the production with the pressure of performing as part of her Year 12 Drama class, drawing high praise from Ms. Hamilton. She also has an important role on the Senior Student Leadership Team – a role that she invests a lot of time and energy in.  Ruby is a great role model for every single student in the College, always putting the welfare of others ahead of her own. Working in tandem with the College Captain, she has taken the position of College Vice-Captain to a new level.
