STUDENTS OF THE TERM: Yrs 9 & 10

Olivia Portelli – 9 MacKillop

Olivia has been a dedicated and enthusiastic member of the year level. She is always the first to volunteer and contribute in class and is respectful to teachers and peers. She always works to her absolute best and is willing to help her classmates when required. She is a true Mercy student. 

Furthermore, Olivia is an active member of the Performing Arts Department. Olivia learns the violin and is a member of Senior Strings. 

She also played the understudy to Mr Myers in the Fame cast and was also a passionate member of the ensemble. Her positive attitude during rehearsals was admirable.

Alice Portz  9 MacKillop

Alice has been a keen user of the MRC during all of Term 2, being one of our top borrowers. She is also an enthusiastic member of our RAGE Book Club. 

Georgia Taylor  10 Blue

Georgia’s teachers describe her as dedicated to her studies and active in the learning environment. She is hard working in all of her classes and always attempts any task. She is not afraid of feedback because she knows it will help her with her learning and improve her skills. She is a friendly and supportive member of the classroom, willing to engage in meaningful class discussion. Georgia has excellent organisation and time management skills which means she is always prepared to learn and have fun in and outside of the classroom. Georgia is a fierce Hockey competitor both for our school and her local club. Congratulations on a wonderful semester, Georgia!  May you continue to share your passion for learning and Hockey with our community.
