SCAS Hockey

I think we might have scored the pick of the weather for the month as it was a great day for SCSA hockey on Tuesday 20 June! Both the senior and junior teams were a mix of a few who play hockey and the rest giving it a go for the first time. Our teams ran hard all day, scored goals and had a great time trying something new or sharing their hockey experience.   A highlight of the day was the fun had by those who were brave enough to experience being goal keeper: Michaela Ross, Giselle Turnbull and Sarah Teklay. 

It was also great seeing first time hockey players looking at home on the pitch. 

Special mention to Lucy Ryan Year 11, Isabella Andrews Year 9 and Allegra Kline Year 9 for the skill and game play they showed as first time players.   

Thanks to Essendon Hockey for supplying us with equipment and parent Kathryn Smith for buying socks for a few girls.
