Congratulations 7B on your outstanding efforts in Dance this year.

The Year 7s composed, rehearsed and performed their group dance work based on choreography dance criteria. The girls loved creating costumes to enhance their performance.

Music

Year 7 Music Breakfast

Students from 7 Blue and 7 Green presented a variety of musical items to parents and friends in the Hall on Tuesday morning, 14 June. This event was a great success, the breakfast concert was a thoroughly enjoyable event for both the audience as well as the performers. In speaking with guests after the event, the comments were very positive and complimentary of the level of musicianship that our beginner band members displayed as well as the talents shown from individual, group and solo performances. Congratulations to all students involved, under the wonderful leadership of Ms Hocking and the Instrumental music staff.

Winter Music Recital

The next Academy music concert event occurs on Thursday 28 July. The Winter Music Recital provides each student enrolled in learning a musical instrument at school, the opportunity to perform for an audience of peers, family and friends. The event is held in three venues around the College, the Hall, College Chapel and the Drama Studio. These venues host a variety of items and we welcome all students to participate in this rewarding experience by providing musical entertainment for the Academy community.
