Sports Update

Diocesan Athletics

Tuesday the 23rd August was a great day for our athletes at St Joseph’s. 25 students represented our school at the Armidale Diocesan Athletics Carnival in Tamworth. With storm clouds lingering and strong winds to compete with, our students still managed to come away with many ribbons, amazing results and most importantly happy faces! These students represented our school with pride and excellent sportsmanship. It was a pleasure to spend the day with them and their families.

We wish Harrison Bailey the very best of luck as he participates in the Polding Cricket Trials in Tamworth this Friday the 26th August. With his love for the sport, we know he will give it his all. Good luck Harrison!

Armidale Diocesan Gala Day

The Armidale Diocesan Gala Day will be held on Friday the 16th September in Tamworth. This is an excellent opportunity for our Primary students (Yrs 3-6) to spend the day together, working as a team, playing either netball or soccer. We encourage all Primary students to attend this fun day, one which has been put on hold due to Covid the past couple of years. More information via Compass will be sent out soon.
