Messages from our Librarian - Mrs Adams

Book Week

The theme of Book Week this year is Dreaming with Eyes Open. I have been telling the children that when we dream with our eyes closed it is a dream and when we dream with our eyes open it can become a reality. We can be anything we want to be, go anywhere, and be anything. our vision can become a reality.

We have been making our own Dreaming tree which is in the hall. Children have been contributing to this and it is still evolving.

We are looking forward to seeing many of you visit for our torchlight reading and book fair. Next Newsletter will have photos.

The prizes have been awarded to the best book in each category and below is a photo of the winning titles.

Premier's Reading Challenge

Lots and lots of children have completed the Challenge. Fantastic work. Many of the children completed this in the last week of the Challenge. The children who have completed the Challenge will receive their certificate from the Premier later in Term 4.

Children who have completed the Challenge have added their name/flower to the trees in the library and hall.
