Dear Parents and Carers,

It has been wonderful to see the great teaching and learning happening in our classrooms this fortnight. Students have been working diligently during writing workshops to achieve their individual writing goals. 

Currently, our classes have been learning how to plan, draft, compose and edit well-structured information reports. Congratulations to all our students who are achieving their independent writing goals and writing engaging information reports from their favourite animals, countries, and sporting superstars!

This week Kindergarten began their new science topic, ‘Material World’. The students enjoyed creating paper cup binoculars to find and describe the materials in our playground.

Stage 1 have been learning to write an Informative Text. They have been planning and writing an information report on different animals. The children loved learning about the habitat, appearance and diet of a turtle.
