Happy Week 7 everyone!
Just a quick reminder from boarding, that winter is upon us and students will be requiring their winter woollies if not now, very soon. Warm socks, winter clothes, as well as prescribed winter wardrobe really assists our students to do their best and to keep the cold at bay. Warm bedding and thermals under uniform can really help! You can tell I am from the Kimberley, can’t you?
As I write, I am packed and ready to do the Bibblumun Track with 11 of our Year 12’s for the next three days with Miss Jemma Read and Mr Jordan Lee. The students will be walking from Sullivan Rock to Mt Cooke campsite, then up and over Mt Cooke to Nerang Campsite, walking out and then back to our College Friday afternoon. This has always been on my bucket list, so to start with three sections is very exciting! (Did I mention I was in the support vehicle, smiley face emoji).
Thank you to our amazing kitchen staff who have really cooked up a storm for the staff and students the past week. Please see our beautiful spread for our Professional Development Day below. We are now planning the menu for our NW Tour, so stay tuned.
