Art

The Foundation students have been learning about the famous artist Pablo Picasso. We looked at his different paintings and learnt some facts, including:

 

- Picasso could draw before he could talk.

- Picasso's first word was pencil.

- Picasso went through a time where everything he painted was blue because he felt sad.

- Picasso's paintings don't look real and this is called Cubism. 

 

We have been practising our cutting a pasting skills, and our aim was to create the craziest face we could! I think the students did a wonderful job! You can see the in the learning street, outside the Foundation room.
