Principal's Report

Dear families,

OPEN PROFESSIONAL LEARNING COMMUNITY DAY

Several teachers from other schools in our Region took the opportunity to visit our school and see our Professional learning Communities in action. They were provided with an authentic PLC experience and were able to witness firsthand how the student data/work directs the teaching and learning at Toolamba P.S. Congratulation to Craig for all his efforts in organising this event.

Next Thursday is our Validation Day for our School Review. The Panel which consists of the Reviewer, the Senior Education Leader and two Challenge Partners (other principals) will review our Pre-Review Self-Assessment, conduct classroom observations, and meet with Student Focus groups. This is the first of three days before the end of the term.

BREAKFAST CLUB

Breakfast Club was extremely popular this week, we had to set up another table for all our diners. A huge thank you to all those parents and teachers who came along to help. Your assistance was greatly appreciated.  It is so great to see the students enjoying each other’s company over a meal.

THANK YOU

A special thank you to Mathew Sammut who has taken it upon himself to do several odd jobs around the school which are certainly beyond my level of expertise.

PRINCIPAL CONFERENCE

On Monday 5th June I will be attending a principal conference in Melbourne.

Have a lovely weekend,

Regards Heather
