MODEL UNITED NATIONS CONFERENCE

Four students ventured to Trafalgar for the Model United Nations Conference on Tuesday. The day featured schools from East, South and West Gippsland, and the Valley, each representing a country as they debated Climate Change. Our students, Natalie Churchill, Emma Gardner, Marty Cook and Riley McIntosh were thoughtful and considered members of the delegate for Canada. They were required to address the room and introduce Canada’s history and philosophies in supporting Climate Action before networking and questioning the other countries then voting on amendments to the bill. The day provided an exceptional learning opportunity as students developed their listening, debating and critical thinking skills. It was an exceptional effort from our KSC representatives. Well done!
