YEAR 7

In Year 7 Science at KSC we have been looking at different ways to separate mixtures. 

Mr. McLean’s class learnt how to decant, filter and then do an evaporation to separate a sand & salt mixture. 

YEAR 8

Year 8 Science classes have been studying Convection, Conduction and Radiation over the past few weeks. 

Coloured crystals in water, and using the Bunsen burners, is always a colourful and fun way to observe convection currents!
