Patchy the Pirate Update -17 May 2023

'Creating Futures Together'

Ahoy there, me hearties! Patchy the Pirate is back with some exciting updates from the SpongeBob Musical. First off, the cast recently completed a photo shoot in their newly made costumes. I was lucky enough to sneak my way into the shoot, and even managed to get my very own portrait taken.

The costumes look even better up close, and I can't wait to see them on stage. But that's not all! The photos taken at the shoot will be used to design the billboard that will go up on Jells Rd, just around the corner from the school. This is a big deal, me hearties. It means that the whole town will get a glimpse of the magic that is The SpongeBob Musical. In rehearsals, the cast has started working on the first few scenes of Act 2. Let me tell you, it's going to be even better than Act 1. The plot thickens, the stakes get higher, and the musical numbers get catchier. I won't spoil anything for you, but I will say that you'll be on the edge of your seat.

And here's some news that even SpongeBob doesn't know yet: I've been secretly working on a scene of my own that I hope to show him one day. It's a surprise, and I don't want to give anything away, but let's just say it involves a certain pirate's love for SpongeBob. The cast has also started incorporating some of the elaborate props into their rehearsals made by our set designer; Graphic Attitude. I'm talking about giant burgers, jellyfish umbrellas, and even a life-sized Krusty Krab. The attention to detail is impressive, and it's clear that everyone involved is committed to making this the best show possible. Well, that's all for now, me hearties.

Keep your eyes peeled for that billboard on Jells Rd, and mark your calendars for the upcoming performance of the SpongeBob Musical. And who knows, maybe one day you'll see me, Patchy the Pirate, on stage with SpongeBob himself. Until next time, fair winds and following seas, me hearties!
