BE INVOLVED, BE CONNECTED

Last Friday we were able to take an hour and celebrate the mums and special women at South Melbourne Park Primary.  A beautiful morning saw our community gather together to enjoy delicious breakfast, coffee and tea and saw the kids get creative making beautiful cards and pictures for their loved ones.  

 

Thank you to everyone who helped put the morning together including Harry from Park Lane coffee who made sure everyone had their caffeine fix first up and to Dan (William & Amelia’s dad) who delivered the flowers for us.

 

A VERY special mention and thank you to Emily (Luca & Bay’s mum) & Billie (Ed & Rafferty’s mum) for their amazing work on the photo backdrop and creative station for kids; to Kate (Agi & Hugh’s mum) for getting South Melbourne Bakery on board to donate the delicious pastries; to the fabulous team at Their Care who helped with decorations, donated to our tea and coffee station and also helped us set up and pack down and to Lou (Will, Margot & Frankie’s mum), Freya (Rupert, Harry & Artie’s mum), Rob (Ethan, Jacob & Caitlin’s dad) & Leigh (Lucia’s dad) for helping with various things throughout the morning.  

We would also like to particularly acknowledge those local businesses who supported our Mother’s Day event this year by donating flowers & pastries.  If you are looking for flowers or pastries/bread please consider using these wonderful small businesses who support SMPPS.
