Library News

Our library is dedicated to fostering a love of reading and learning. We maintain a balanced and current collection of books with a diverse range of material to suit the needs of our students.

We encourage all students to borrow from our School Library every week. We are still running our school reading competition and the winning class will be announced in week 10.

Book Fair

The Book Fair has been another huge success this year. A big thank you to all the parents, grandparents, carers, students, and staff who supported our school library by purchasing books at our Scholastic Book Fair!

All funds will be used to buy new books for our school library. Our heartfelt thanks to those who have made donations, it is truly much appreciated!

Knitting is still quite popular with the younger students, enjoying finger knitting as well as needle knitting. We have one scarf underway.

Sewing has attracted the attention of the senior students, who have been busy making cushions using different coloured buttons to create a love heart and sewing letter patterns. We have some wonderful creations and some very happy Mums who received them as a gift from their child.

We are so thankful and appreciative of having our nans come in to help. Thank you Laurel and Shani.

Public School Students

A link to the Premier’s Reading Challenge website can be found in the Student Portal under the Learning section.  Students are also able to add a link to the PRC in the My Link List section to make the PRC easier to find.  The URL to use is https://online.det.nsw.edu.au/prc/studentExperience.html#/.

Public school students can also log in directly to the PRC website using their Department of Education (DoE) username and password.  These are the same details a student would use to access the Student Portal and the computer network at school.  If you are unaware of your username and/or password, please contact your class teacher and ask for your Student Portal username and/or password.
