Foundation Musical Play

This Monday we celebrated Foundation Musical Play with our Foundation students, their families, staff and Year Six buddies. It was wonderful to see so many of our families supporting the important work we do in Performing Arts and we thank you for coming along and giving it your all. It was so lovely to see familiar faces and to meet some of our new Foundation families. 

It was wonderful for the children to see  you, their favourite people engaging in music as we played, smiled and laughed when doing singing, movement and instrumentation. 

You are all your children's favourite Rockstar's so we hope you learnt a few new songs and ideas to explore at home with your little people.  

Music is such an integral part of your child's development as it helps us to enhance the fitness of our brains and prepares us for social and emotional situations, academic achievement and provides us with an efficient process for memory retention. I look forward to sharing more of the neurological benefits with you on this platform in the coming weeks as well as some resources for engagement in Literacy and Numeracy practices.
