From the Principal

Dear Parents and Carers,

A big happy Mother’s Day to all our mums and carers.  I hope Sunday’s beautiful weather allowed the children to spoil you with some of the treasures from the Mother’s Day stall.  Thank you once again to our amazing Parents Association for hosting the Mother’s Day stall. As a school community, we are very grateful for all the work this group of dedicated volunteers do for our school and the students.

Thank you to our Year 5 students and their teachers for leading us in our Mother’s Day Liturgy last Friday afternoon.  This was a lovely time for our community to stop, reflect and give thanks for all the things that make our mums special.

Camp Day for Prep, Year 1 and Year 2

Last Tuesday 9th May was an action packed day for our students in Prep, Year 1 and 2.  Despite rainy weather conditions, our junior school students were able to experience their camp day activities and fun.  Thank you to our local Bunnings representatives who supplied and facilitate some fantastic hands on activities.  Click here for more details including photos.

Please make yourself familiar with the new look and layout, as Audiri (previously known as Skoolbag) continues to be an important communication channel for our school community.  If you have any questions about our communication platforms please contact the School office.

Parish Renewal Program

Over the next three weeks, St Simon’s Parish will engage with a Parish Renewal Program, coordinated by Stephen Littleton from Parish First. The Program is a wonderful opportunity – as individuals and as a community – to reflect on the importance of our great parish and the role we can play in parish life.  As members of the St Simon’s School, you are invited to be part of the St Simon’s Parish and the parish renewal program is one way you can engage and build relationships.  Please click here to find out more.
